A Moments Wisdom

–A teacher who is attempting to teach without inspiring his students with a desire to learn is hammering cold iron.
–It is fortunate that in this country we have freedom of speech, but it is unfortunate that the supply usually exceeds the demand.
–How much easier it is for some to critical than to be correct.
–Treat arguments like weeds, nip them in the bud.
–If you are waiting around for something to turn up, why don’t you start with your sleeves.
–You won’t reach people spiritually by appealing to their carnality.
–The best way to get rid of unpleasant duties is to discharge them faithfully.
–When you are reading a book in a dark room, you take it to the window to get more light. Likewise, take your Bible to the Lord in prayer.
–Hating people is like burning down your house to kill a mouse.
–We tend to be very quick about finding faults in others, though we do not tolerate advice ourselves. Nothing shows our weakness more than to be sharp sighted in spotting others faults and short sighted about our own.
