Behold The Lamb of God

Before this world was ever formed, God had been working toward a specific moment in time. Every act of creation, every event in the history of the world, everything God ever did or said to humankind since Adam drew his first breath was leading up to the moment when John would announce the beginning of the ministry of the Savior of the world.

29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!… 34 And I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God.” 35 Again, the next day, John stood with two of his disciples. 36 And looking at Jesus as He walked, he said, “Behold the Lamb of God!”
